Our Mission

Therapy & Learning Center of Georgia's mission is to improve the lives of children and their families through offering specialized, multidisciplinary therapy services to address the whole child. Board Certified Behavior Analysts provide services to our ASD population through intensive early intervention programs in our clinics and school based programs for our older population. Speech language pathologists provide services for the identification, evaluation, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders. Occupational therapists provide services to evaluate and treat a variety of disorders related to Autism, sensory processing disorder, developmental delay, visual motor impairments, and fine motor weaknesses.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for Autism is a type of intensive therapy based on the science of learning and behavior. The goal is to increase behaviors that are helpful and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affect learning.

Speech and language therapy helps children with expressive and receptive language disorders articulation deficits , social communication challenges, and feeding disorders.

Occupational therapy helps children develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily functioning, sensory processing, and gross and fine motor skills.

Our tutors are certified teachers, reading specialists and speech language pathologists and are trained in the Orton Gillingham method.

From children in need of intensive care to include full day early intervention ABA therapy with speech and OT services, to children requiring short visits for speech therapy or occupational therapy only, TLC has a program for everyone. Our ASD population will benefit from the P.A.C.T. service delivery model, where Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Speech Language Pathologists, and Occupational Therapists collaborate together to address the needs of the whole child.

"My grandson has been attending this location from the time they opened. They have the best staff. They have awesome communications from both the RBT's and the BCBA's. I have Bi-Weekly meetings with his BCBA and we are able to discuss progress and get recommendations. They have just increased their space and they know have a pre-k type of environment. This makes it so much better for the kids to work in peers. Did I mention they best part, each kid has their own RBT they work with daily. They switch the staff and kids up so they can work with different skill sets. They are also great for Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy. My grandson is getting ready to start Feeding Therapy and setting it up and he will also get that during that day. You will not find a better place to go with such an awesome staff as this place!

"We have been taking our son to Therapy and Learning Center of Georgia since being diagnosed with a non-verbal learning disorder along with ADHD. We noticed our son had social difficulties & was very shy. We saw a pediatric neurologist who recommended a social group. Finding a child focused social group was very important and Mrs. Squires made sure that our son was in a group of children of the same age and similar diagnosis. After just a few sessions our son was more confident and was "coming out of his shell". Miss Amy's curriculum is fun, easy and interesting for a child to keep engaged. She also teaches at the Art Barn where friendly animals and art make a child feel more at ease and enables kids to be a kids! Our son is not as socially awkward after going to therapy at the art barn. The self confidence that Miss Amy helped my son develop is priceless."
