What is TLC's FLY Program?

Welcome to our Functional Learning for Youth (FLY for short) ABA Program! Designed specifically for 6-12-year-olds, our program offers tailored Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in a dynamic and supportive environment. FLY is currently only offered at our Elkins Road location.


In FLY, we understand the importance of peer interaction and age-appropriate learning experiences. That's why our program brings together like-aged children to work on crucial skills including socialization and functional abilities.


With a team of experienced and compassionate therapists, we provide individualized support to each child, fostering growth and progress in a nurturing setting. Whether it's building friendships, mastering daily tasks, or enhancing communication skills, our FLY ABA Program is committed to helping every child reach their full potential.

TLC's FLY Program

We offer comprehensive ABA for school-aged children with ASD based on individual needs.


Sample Schedule:

Comprehensive: M-F 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, half-day options available 

Morning Work Cycle 9:00-11:00 AM

Daily Living Skills NET/STEM/Social Group Activities 11:00 AM-12:00 PM

Lunch 12:00-12:30 PM

Daily Living Skills NET/Art/Music 12:30-3:00 PM 

Social Skills/Speech/Occupational Therapy 3:00-5:00 PM


Coordination of care is ensured with the provision of ABA, Speech, and OT all under one roof.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the process for getting approved for services?

    You will need to call our office and submit an ABA intake form, referal from the pediatrician, the initial psychological evaluation diagnosing your child with Autism, and a copy of your drivers license.

  • Does my insurance cover ABA?

    Many insurance companies, including Medicaid, cover ABA for up to 40 hours per week of 1-1 treatment.

  • How long does authorization for services take?

    The entire process from your first phone call to onset of services takes about 6 weeks. Patients are generally authorized for treatment for 6 month intervals and 20-40 hours per week.

  • Does ABA therapy work for Autism?

    ABA therapy is the gold standard for a clinically-validated and heavily researched approach to helping children with autism.
